This 8oz bottle is the perfect size for everyday use.

Neem oil is dark, thick, and smells like banana compost so the first thing you’ll want
to do is cut it with something like light olive oil and camphor/eucalyptus/tea tree or
clove oil (or any combination) to negate the smell.

Neem is pretty amazing stuff with a variety of potential uses. Its an excellent moisturizer,
high in Vitamin E and fatty acids, soothing dry, cracked or otherwise stressed and damaged
skin. Unlike petroleum based moisturizers, neem oil actually restores the skin’s natural
elasticity. Now combine that with the medicinal properties we know from herbs like aloe and
tea tree: antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties reduce the swelling and redness of
conditions like acne and rosacea, it can lighten scars and pigmentation, if the skin problem
is due to some infection, fungus or parasite, neem deals with that as well.

The neem tree appears to be a biochemical factory producing a mixture of over 135 biologically
active compounds. As a pesticide, the oil from neem seeds are believed to break the life cycle
of pests and deters them from feeding and/or hatching. Studies have shown that active compounds
in the oil inhibited the secretion of hormones into the blood inhibiting the reproductive function
in insects. Neem oil is known to be active on over 400 insect pests. It’s found to be effective
against fleas, head lice, mites, scabies, and mosquitoes.

This stuff is best stored in the fridge, use it liberally, a little goes a long way. If you’re
planning on using this for any skin condition, your regimen will be enhanced by taking neem
capsules. Most scientific research into neem’s antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action was
done using neem leaf rather than neem oil. And if you want to use this in a bath you’ll have to
break it down with an emulsifier first like hand soap or dishwashing detergent or you will wind
up with a gloppy oily ring around the tub that will keep you busy for a while with the Softscrub.

BTW, as miraculous as this stuff appears to be, it does not work overnight. Be patient and you will
be rewarded with all the benefits claimed for this wonder cure.

I bought this neem oil in an attempt to control a fungus gnat infestation naturally. I have two kitties that hang out by my house plants and I can’t use anything toxic around them so I decided to try neem oil despite its mixed reviews of success on controlling fungus gnats. After about a month of continuous use I can say it didn’t do anything to disrupt the gnat population D= But it still works for other purposes. I have a Venus Fly trap and they are very sensitive to chemicals, minerals and even fertilizers. I noticed some green fungus starting to grow on the dirt around it and mixed the neem oil with distilled water and sprayed it down. Within a few days there was no more fungus and my VFT is as happy as ever springing up lots of new traps.

So while neem doesn’t get rid of the gnats it gets rid of fungus naturally =D next natural solution im looking at for the gnats is Diatomaceous earth.

This oil is fantastic. I’d heard rumours that pure neem oil works for health benefits. I tried it on some of my minorly arthritic body parts and the pain vanished. I mean vanished! It really smells though – I couldn’t live with myself until I washed it off. Next time, I mixed it with a lot of aromatic pure oils and diluted it greatly with sesame oil and it seems just as effective and not so stinky! I just love this oil – it’s my new best friend!
