I am the biggest skeptic…but this product is AWESOME!!! Yes, it did cause my scalp to itch when I first started using it, but I kept using it since the website said to keep using it to improve scalp health. After a few weeks, the itching stopped, my natural 4b hair (which always feels dry and “crunchie”) is incredibly moisturized, and last but not least, I kid you not, my hair grew almost an inch in less than a month of use!!! I recommend to everyone!!!

I received my JCBO on time and intact. This castor oil is dark brown and thick but easily absorbs into the skin. To those who are debating between the lavender scented versus the unscented castor oil, be cautious. The lavender scent can be overpowering initially, but once you use it in your mixtures and such, the scent is not so bad, and it doesn’t linger long. Other than that, this oil is great. I use it in my leave-in conditioners and to oil my scalp to combat dandruff.

This may be one of the best products that I have ever used!!! Amazing for scalp health, great as a moisturizer and as a sealant for dry hair! This product is slamming, period. I will use it in a future mixtures – but I just use it in conjunction with my other favs now! Absolutely amazing for my hair! I don’t always do the whole hair typing thing but for the record I would fall along the lines of 4a and 3b.
