Excellent value,
The reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 star is the feet. I set this unit up in my basement and just moving it left black scuffs on the floor. They are made of a cheap rubber or plastic and can potentially leave scuffs on tile or other surfaces. I’ll get some glide bottoms from the hardware store and fit to them, that should resolve it nicely.

|My amateur masseuse of a girlfriend loves it,
Having had a massage on it myself, I can say that it was stable and comfortable. It seems well made and was big enough for me at 6’3″, 180lbs. All of her clients have been satisfied with it as well.
She is 5’4″, 115lbs and is great shape but it is a little heavy for her. She can carry it with the nice shoulder strap but has some difficulty getting it into her little Mitsubishi Eclipse. It’s not a problem for me but she asks me for help sometimes – simply because it’s a little tough for her.
I do have two minor complaints – first use it had a strong rubberized smell that was unbearable for me (as the lucky recipient of the trial massage). I couldn’t put my head in the headrest because it just smelled like a tire. We improvised and I rubbed it down real good with some Dr. Bronner’s peppermint castile soap and it hasn’t been a problem since. Also the hand straps for carrying the bag have broken…I guess that’s annoying but I don’t see any reason to use those over the shoulder strap (it’s not light, even for me). Would possibly be useful for maneuvering it in the car.

|Sturdy table for home use,
The padding is dense and supportive. The table-top part is solidly built. I was a little skeptical about the apparent thinness of the table legs, but this turned out to be unfounded. Unless you strain the table in an unusual way (ie kick the leg out from under the table as hard as you can), I doubt there will ever be a problem. It’s supposed to be portable, so they can’t have tree-trunk table legs.
Contrary to other reviews, the adjustable headrest has worked without problems and when feeling very lazy, we just use the face hole built into the table.
